BIO
Suzanne Marie Moreau, BFA
Principal, Suzanne Moreau FilmsÂ
President, Femme Power Productions, Inc.
Suzanne believes creative self-expression is a fingerprint of the soul.
Primarily a writer of narrative fiction screenplays, she also creates visual stories in film. In only a few short years after exploring the art form, she has become an award-winning independent filmmaker, who creates visual stories through the female gaze as a writer, director, producer and production designer.
Her artistic goal is to amplify the voices of women and girls to break the bias and bring about a more equitable and just society. Her satirical, absurdist, and dramatic stories about women's empowerment, help to expose the fallacy of gender-based thinking and offer hope for the present and future.
Suzanne's films synergize her BFA in visual art, decades of arts practice, performance, film acting and mentorship; all grounded in her former career in public service. Her work in criminal justice and education policy/programs contributed towards a more just and equitable society and adds verisimilitude to her artistic expression in narrative fiction film that delves into social justice issues.

When she's not writing and making films, Suzanne can be found cycle touring, singing for seniors, or frolicking in her garden with fur babies, friends and family.
